GCX Studios produced The Elizabeth Taylor Ball, a virtual event for The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF). With video messages from President Bill Clinton, Ambassador Deborah Birx, Sir Elton John & David Furnish, Colin Farrell, Aileen Getty, Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Kathy Ireland and Sam Smith, performances by Josh Groban and ETAF Ambassador Vanessa Williams, and a live auction hosted by Christie’s, the event was a great success, exceeding the fundraising goal set for the ball.

Gabrielle’s Angels Presents Studio 54 Virtual Disco Party

GCX Studios and broadcasting partner Push produced Studio 54 Virtual Disco Party, a private fundraising livestream event for the benefit of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation. The event featured performances by notable acts such as Chaka Khan and Patti Labelle, and by the end of the event, over $1 million was raised to fund critical cancer research. This livestream resided on a custom webpage built by GCX Studios, and highlighted a live chat function and custom emojis to encourage guests to engage with each other.

Hope & Heroes Presents Wall Street’s Got Talent Virtual Gala

GCX Studios together with worked on producing and broadcasting the Hope & Heroes Wall Street’s Got Talent private Virtual Gala. With the goal of producing a fun, interactive, and impactful event, a live chat function and a live auction feature was integrated. Hope & Heroes Gala was attended and supported by some of the most prominent names of Wall Street. They all came together to support the great cause of Hope & Heroes, whose mission is to fund research and care for children’s cancer and blood disorders at Columbia University Medical Center.

Def Comedy Jam Presents “Healing Through Laughter”
– COVID-19 Relief Efforts

Our team took part in producing the first-ever Livestream, comedy fundraiser for the most iconic brand in Comedy. The show was created to raise money for the purchase of medical supplies used to combat COVID-19 in New York. Hosted by Cedric The Entertainer with music by the original Def Comedy Jam’s DJ Kid Capri. Featuring hilarious stories, cyphers, debates, games brought to you by the best comedians of all time. Making their first Def Comedy Jam appearance were also GCX Studios' talents Reggie Couz, Kellye Hardy and Kmoore The Goat.


The goal was to raise awareness about the essential workers in underserved communities – not just the nurses, but the bus drivers, grocery store clerks, delivery drivers, sanitation workers; so, on and so forth. The Rush Foundation and Gushcloud International secured the much-needed products which will be delivered to these brave and inspiring people by Life Camp, Inc. led by Erica Ford.

Def Poetry Jam: An Evening of Healing, Power & Poetry

Def Poetry Jam returns for a mega marathon of Healing, Power & Poetry with a very special streaming event benefiting COVID-19 relief. It will premiere on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 7pm ET/4 PM PT. The program will stream online on Facebook and Twitch.


This epic evening of artistry will be hosted by The Legendary Black Ice and Jessica Care Moore with special guest poet Ras Baraka, Mayor of Newark, NJ. More than two dozen poets have been confirmed to perform, including Def Poetry all-stars such as Georgia Me, Roger Bonair, and Sunni Patterson. The production will introduce powerful new voices like Brandon “Real Talk” Alexander, Elisabeth Velasquez, Khemist, and Jasmine Mans and feature legendary spoken word voices like Abiodun Oyewole of The Last Poets. Actor and Def Poetry veteran Malcolm-Jamal Warner will make a special appearance and the show will also have a performance by Def Poetry Jam co-creator Danny Simmons, accompanied by jazz legend Ron Carter.

Quarantine Monologues: One Man Show Finale

After going through more than 11,000 monologue submissions, each of the four finalists, picked by Leah Daniels-Butler, got paired with their own group of writers from talented Writers Mob, a collective of creative writers established by Henry and Leah Butler. GCX Studios worked together with 1oneninety5 to co-produced and co-directed this One Man Show Finale.
